He is a Registered Patent Attorney and a former software engineer with an MBA and a strong background in business, commercial issues, and market rights. Ken prides himself on being a highly skilled collaborator with a strong drive to partner and communicate with cross-functional teams within an organization to push multiple projects forward and achieve business goals. Ken’s in-house experience gives him strong insight into the critical issues and concerns facing businesses on a day-to-day basis.

Prior to going in-house, Ken started his legal career as a patent attorney and client portfolio manager at a well-renowned IP law firm headquartered in Orange County, CA. He is experienced in preparing and prosecuting patent applications across a wide array of computer and related technologies, having represented large and small clients in software, cloud computing and Internet of Things (“IoT”) devices, data intelligence and computer-based analytics, and healthcare.
Before law school, Ken worked full-time as a software engineer, developing web-based applications and user interfaces for the data warehousing powerhouse Teradata. During that time, he also acquired an MBA from UC Irvine’s Fully Employed MBA program.
